Module 8 Overview

In this module, you will learn about Web 3.0 and privacy issues. Web 3.0 (also known as web3) is the third iteration of the Internet that interconnects data in a decentralized way to deliver a faster and more personalized user experience. It is built using artificial intelligence, machine learning and the semantic web, and uses the blockchain security system to keep your information safe and secure.


Course Objectives

This module contributes to the following course objectives:

  1. Describe privacy and data protection-related issues necessary for effective control of data.
  2. Evaluate anonymity mechanisms for anonymous communication and database privacy.
  3. Apply secure multiparty computation to preserve privacy and fidelity of digital identity in different application domains.
  4. Analyze strategy, protection mechanisms, and countermeasures to overcome privacy threats for digital identity and data analysis technologies
